Hi, i’m kara

I started Unscripted Social Co. as a way to bring my love for storytelling, creativity, and content creation to life.

I’ve always been the person with a camera in hand; taking photos, filming little clips, documenting trips and celebrations, and finding the stories in the moments happening around me. What started as a hobby grew into a passion for creating content that feels natural, authentic, and true to the people and brands behind it.

I graduated from the University of South Dakota with a degree in Media & Journalism and a minor in Social Media Marketing. While at USD, I created content daily for the university’s social media accounts, gaining hands-on experience in everything from filming and editing to social strategy and storytelling.

Today, I work full-time in Sioux Falls as a corporate content writer, where I continue to build my skills in storytelling, messaging, and creating content that connects with an audience.

Unscripted Social is where I get to bring all of those skills together—capturing the behind-the-scenes, creating content for businesses, and helping people and brands show up online in a way that feels like them.
